Whatsapp Set to Further Limit Underage Access

Are you below 16 years of age and currently or intending to use WhatsApp?  Sorry pal, because they famous messaging platform is set to increase it's age limit of usage of the app from 13 to 16 years. This will be reflected on it's New Terms of Service, as they recently revealed in their website.


WhatsApp which has overtime remained firm on users privacy and data protection,  said it will no longer share users Profile information with Facebook, in order to bring to the barest minimum  incidences of spamming and data spying.


The messaging platform also made it known that this proactive step taken by it will be enforced worldwide rather than solely in Europe. And then again,  if you're in your early teenage years and desire to make use of Whatsapp that's going to be a bit of a challenge for you but all in all, the policies set up by these highly reputable companies all boils down to your own benefit, don't really bother asking me how because I don't have all the answers, but do take this Message home 'protection of Unsuspecting Users private information from spies, hackers, exploiters and the likes'. That's a thumbs up!
