Libby, a digital reading app has for a while permitted bookworms to play its audiobooks through Android Auto. Due to an update dated 15th of July, people with CarPlay-enabled infotainment systems are now able to listen to the app’s books via their setups.
Libby is compatible with 90 percent of public libraries all over North America. What this implies though is, local book lenders who support Libby, now make audiobooks accessible to you for free provided you own an authentic library card. Also, Carplay provides added functionalities of playback (including playback speed), pause, play, fast forward and skip back, all available on audiobooks.
