Sony announced the PS4 DualShock 4 controller will get a bunch of extra colors added to its already wide hue collection. This time around we will be seeing controllers debuting in electric purple, titanium blue, rose gold, and red camouflage.
The four new sets of PS4 DualShock 4 controllers all feature two-tone color scheme except that of the red camouflage which doesn't look much different from an all red real army camouflage, if you look at it that way -still wondering what military in the world wears that sort of color blend though. Another observation to consider while you contemplate a purchase, is the electric purple's all-white icons for the face buttons in place of Sony’s trademark green, red, blue and pink colors.
It is a common trend for DualShock 4 controllers with color variants to retail at higher prices, than the popular standard black PS4 controller. The new colored controllers will go on sale with a price tag of $64.99 come this September. While the standard model (black themed controller) will continue to retail for $59.99.

Lastly, with respect to the new rose gold controller with its similar themed headset dubbed the “rose gold Wireless Headset”. Sony says it will release a matching version of its gold Wireless Headset for the PS4 and is going to retail for $99.99 in November. This should be in the look out for grabs, if you find this color model fanciful enough to own.
