Phishing is an illegal activity in which attackers trick victims into revealing their personal information via e-mail communication, which can be used to steal their money, as well as their personal identity. Phishing also involves the act of prompting unsuspecting computer users, into installing malware through bad links, which can adversely affect the normal working of a computer, leading to the detriment of a user.
